Coalition confirms cross-party support for Universal Infant Free School Meals

Michael Gove and David Laws today published a joint Op-Ed in the Times, stating: ‘We are not at war over free school lunches.’
The Conservative Secretary of State for Education and the Liberal Democrat Schools Minister reaffirmed their commitment to the high profile policy to introduce universal infant free school meals from September 2014, describing it as ‘that rarest of political treasures: a policy that has true cross-party support’.
