DfE announce a further £10m UIFSM funding!

The Department for Education has announced a further £10m UIFSM capital funding in 2015-16 to ensure that all schools can provide hot, healthy and appetising meals to their infant pupils. £8.5millon of the available funding will be distributed to local authorities with the lowest infant meal take up rates (below 80%) as recorded in the school census. The remaining £1.5million capital will be allocated to academies via the Condition Improvement Fund on a pro-rata basis.
